Calrossie

Calrossie is a small Highland settlement on the Dornoch Firth, about 6km southwest of Tain via the B9165 off the A9. It's roughly 250km north of the central belt, making it a convenient stop on the North Coast 500 route, with around 11 fast EV chargers nearby. The village offers firth views and remains a working agricultural area where traditional Highland cattle still graze the coastal fields.
