3About Callander
Callander guards the entrance to the Trossachs, where Scotland's Lowlands meet the Highlands along an ancient geological fault line. The A84 runs straight through town, linking Stirling (16 miles south) with the western Highlands beyond, whilst the A821 heads east through classic Trossachs scenery via Aberfoyle. With ample EV charging and its Victorian high street doubling as the fictional Tannochbrae from "Dr. Finlay's Casebook," the town retains its original red telephone box from the 1960s television series.
