Burwood is a small Shropshire village reached via the A49 and local country lanes from Church Stretton or Craven Arms. Most traffic involves short local journeys between neighbouring villages, though the A5 connects to motorway networks for longer trips. The village's old red telephone box now serves as a community defibrillator station.
