Broken Bow is a ranching town of 3,500 in Nebraska's Sandhills, about 180 miles northwest of Grand Island via Highway 2. Most visitors arrive from Interstate 80, taking the Grand Island exit for the two-hour drive west through farm country. The airport has a 4,100-foot runway primarily serving agricultural aviation and the local ranching industry.
