Broadmeadows lies in Derbyshire's former coalfield between Alfreton and the Nottinghamshire border. Reach it via the A38 and local roads including the B600, with the M1 nearby at Alfreton for longer journeys. The area has good EV charging infrastructure with around 150 fast chargers nearby. The preserved Pinxton Colliery headframe remains visible from approach roads, marking the community's mining heritage.
