About Bonwm

Bonwm is a small Welsh settlement in the Dee Valley, reached via the A5 which connects Llangollen to Shrewsbury. From Wrexham, take the A483 north then the A5 west for about 25km. Corwen lies just 3km away for daily services, whilst the A494 links north to Ruthin and coastal North Wales. Around 15 fast EV chargers serve the area, mainly near Corwen. The name derives from the Welsh for "trunk," after the ancient oaks that once filled this valley.
