Blaencwm

Blaencwm lies at the top of the Rhondda Fawr valley, reached via the A4119 from Cardiff through Tonypandy. Most visitors come up from the coast for valley walks or heritage sites, whilst locals nip down to Treorchy or Pontypridd for shopping. The old miners' welfare hall still runs its weekly bingo nights that started in 1947.
