Blackweir

Blackweir forms part of central Cardiff, sitting along the River Taff between the city center and northern suburbs. The A470 runs directly through the area, whilst the M4 (Junction 29) provides the main motorway access. Local routes include Cathedral Road and the A4161 toward the Valleys. The area retains traces of the original stone weir that gave it its name, visible along the Taff during low water.
