Birnam

Birnam is a small Perthshire village on the A9, just across the River Tay from Dunkeld and 15 miles north of Perth. It's perfectly positioned for Highland touring, with about 20 fast EV chargers nearby. The surrounding Tay valley offers dramatic scenery with wooded hills. Shakespeare's Birnam Wood still grows on the hill above, though only one ancient oak survives from the original medieval forest.
