Birdhill

Birdhill sits on the eastern shore of Lough Derg in County Tipperary, about 20 kilometres northeast of Limerick city. The village connects directly to the N7 Dublin-Limerick motorway at Junction 27, making it handy for travellers from Dublin or Cork. You can also reach it via the R445 from Limerick through Castletroy, a lovely 25-kilometre drive. The village has its own small harbour where traditional wooden boats still moor alongside modern craft during sailing season.
