Birdbrook

Birdbrook is a small Essex village near the Suffolk border, reached via the A1017 between Haverhill and Halstead. Most visitors arrive from the A1092 or through country lanes from the A131, with longer journeys connecting via Haverhill to the A11 or south through Halstead to the A12. The parish church contains rare medieval wall paintings discovered in the 1960s.
