Baysham

Baysham lies in Herefordshire's gentle countryside, a kilometre from Strangford and close to the Wye valley. Most visitors use the A40 east-west route or approach via the A49 from Hereford, about 20km north. It's a handy stopping point between the Midlands and South Wales, with decent EV charging options around Ross-on-Wye. The nearby New Weir Roman site still shows stone foundations in the riverbank at low tide.
