Barr, Highland

Barr occupies a remote corner of the Morvern peninsula, reached via single-track roads from Lochaline and the Corran Ferry. Most visitors arrive through Fort William and Strontian, though the journey from any direction involves careful navigation of narrow Highland roads with passing places. The settlement sits amongst ancient oakwoods with views across to Mull, close to the atmospheric ruins of Caisteal nan Con.
