Barnacabber perches beside Loch Long in Argyll and Bute, reached via the A815 from Dunoon then the B839 along narrow lochside roads. The A83 at Arrochar provides the main connection for longer journeys from Glasgow or the Central Belt. Red deer often graze down to the village stone walls at first light.
