Banchory Devenick is a small Aberdeenshire village just south of Aberdeen, reached via the B9077 off the A90 trunk road. The A90 connects it to Stonehaven and Dundee, whilst the A93 provides access from Royal Deeside. Aberdeen International Airport is 15 kilometres northeast. The village name derives from the historic Devenick Parish that once covered this stretch of the Dee valley.
