Balgunloune

Balgunloune lies on the Black Isle peninsula, about 15 kilometres north of Inverness via the A9 and A832. The A832 serves both local traffic between peninsula communities and long-distance travelers heading toward Ullapool and the northwest Highlands. With over 30 EV charging points nearby, it's well-positioned for touring the North Coast 500. The village is named after the Gaelic for "town of the bare gun" and features a distinctive red sandstone war memorial overlooking the Cromarty Firth.
