Balerno

Balerno lies in the Pentland Hills foothills, 12 kilometres southwest of Edinburgh. This former mill village has become a sought-after residential area whilst retaining its village feel. The A70 provides direct access to Edinburgh's bypass in 15 minutes, with onward connections to the airport and city centre. Over 150 public EV charging points serve the wider area. The village boasts Malleny Garden, a restored 17th-century walled garden famous for its ancient yew trees, some over 400 years old.
