Bailey Grove

Bailey Grove lies on the Derbyshire-Nottinghamshire border in the Erewash Valley, easily reached via the A608 from either Heanor or Eastwood. For longer trips, exit the M1 at Junction 26 and follow the A610 toward Ripley before joining local roads. The settlement takes its name from a grove of oak trees planted by the Bailey family in the 1800s, several of which remain along Bailey Grove Road today.
