Ashton lies in east Cornwall's Tamar Valley, near Callington and the Devon border. Access is via the A390 through the valley or local roads from the A38 and A388. Plymouth's rail links and motorway connections are 20km southeast, whilst approximately 100 EV charging points serve the area around Callington. The village sits beneath Kit Hill, a prominent 334-meter granite tor that dominates the valley landscape.
