Ash Grove is a small Missouri town of about 1,300 people located 20 miles west of Springfield on US Highway 60. The drive from Springfield takes 25 minutes through rolling Ozark farmland, with State Route 123 providing connections north to I-44. Springfield Branson National Airport is 35 miles southeast. The town's restored 1920s railroad depot serves as a museum with vintage train cars and local historical artifacts.
