Arthog
Wales
Arthog occupies a prime spot along the Mawddach Estuary in Gwynedd, where Snowdonia meets the sea. The A493 coastal road runs straight through the village, connecting Dolgellau (10km east) with the Heritage Coast. The village houses the original Outward Bound Centre, established in 1941 as the world's first outdoor adventure training school.
