Argyle is a small city in Denton County, about 30 miles northwest of Dallas and 25 miles north of Fort Worth. Most visitors arrive via Highway 407 from either I-35E (Dallas direction) or I-35W (Fort Worth direction), with Highway 377 running north-south through town. The community of 5,400 sits on rolling Cross Timbers terrain between the two metro areas, maintaining its rural horse country character with distinctive red barns scattered across the landscape.
