Ardvorlich perches on Loch Earn's northern shore in the Highlands, reached via the A85 from Stirling then a scenic single-track road. The 17th-century Ardvorlich House, one of Scotland's oldest continuously inhabited homes, displays an extraordinary collection of Jacobite relics including Rob Roy's actual gun.
