Ansty is a small Dorset village on the A357 between Blandford Forum and Sherborne, set in the chalk downlands where the River Lydden flows through a shallow valley. The A357 provides the main route north to the A303 or south to join the A31 near Blandford Forum for coastal connections. With about 30 fast EV chargers in the area, it's well-positioned for electric vehicle travel. The village retains its rural character and is home to one of Dorset's few working watermills.
