Alvediston

Alvediston is a small Wiltshire village in the Ebble Valley, reached via country lanes from the A354 near Salisbury or the A30 at Shaftesbury. The Norman church houses a remarkable 13th-century wooden knight's effigy, one of England's few surviving medieval wooden sculptures.
