Alciston

Alciston is a small South Downs village in East Sussex, reached via the A27 and minor roads from Brighton or Eastbourne. The area offers typical downland scenery with chalk hills and ancient field patterns. St. Michael's Church houses remarkable 14th-century wall paintings discovered during 1930s restoration work.
