Alachua, FL

Alachua is a small city in north-central Florida, about 15 miles northwest of Gainesville via US 441. Most visitors take I-75 to Exit 399, then head west on SR 222 into downtown. The city serves as a quiet residential community with tree-lined streets and easy access to Gainesville Regional Airport, about 20 miles away. The 1908 City Hall still houses the original jail cells in its basement.
