3About Aggeneys
Aggeneys is that small mining town you pass through on the N14 between Springbok and Upington, out in the dry Northern Cape flats. Pofadder is a quick 48 km hop for supplies, Pella's 37 km off on gravel and worth the stop for the old mission church. Long-haul visitors tend to come from way down south, think Langebaan or Riversdale, hundreds of kays off. No EV chargers here, so juice up in Springbok or Upington. The town exists because of Black Mountain Mine, still one of SA's biggest zinc and silver producers.
