Aberdaron

Aberdaron perches at the very tip of the Llŷn Peninsula, where pilgrims once gathered before crossing to Bardsey Island. Reach it via the A499 from Pwllheli, then the winding B4413 through spectacular coastal scenery. The village's 13th-century church houses remarkable Celtic stones inscribed in Latin and ancient Ogham script.
