Tytherleigh is a small Devon village near the Somerset border, reached via country lanes connecting to the A358 at Chard. Most journeys are local trips to nearby villages, though the A358 provides access to the M5 at Taunton and the A30 further south. The 13th-century church of St. Peter houses a remarkably preserved medieval rood screen.
