Tyler is a farming town of about 1,100 people in southwestern Minnesota, 15 miles from South Dakota. Highway 14 runs east-west through town, connecting to Marshall 35 miles east for Interstate access. Highway 68 heads north to Lake Benton and south toward Ivanhoe. The area celebrates its Danish heritage each September with Æbleskiver Days, featuring traditional pancake ball cooking demonstrations.
