Twelveheads

Twelveheads occupies Cornwall's former mining heartland, about 10km northeast of Truro where several country lanes meet. Most visitors approach via the A390 from Truro or St. Austell, then head north through Chacewater on local roads. The village sits amongst gentle hills and wooded valleys typical of this part of Cornwall, with over 60 EV charging points nearby for electric vehicle users. The name derives from twelve mine shaft heads that once operated here, testament to the intensive tin and copper mining that defined the area for centuries.
