Turnchapel

England

Turnchapel is a small coastal village on Plymouth Sound's eastern shore, reached via the A379 from Plymouth city centre about 6km away. The A38 provides connections to Exeter and the M5 for longer journeys, whilst local routes serve neighbouring Plymstock and the residential areas around the Cattewater estuary. With approximately 100 public EV charging points across the Plymouth area, electric vehicle drivers are well catered for. The village retains its historic Turnchapel Wharf, where ferries once crossed to Mount Batten.
