Tulla is a small County Clare town sitting 20 kilometres northeast of Ennis, where the gentle Clare hills meet the Shannon basin. The M18 motorway puts you within easy reach of Galway (45 minutes) and Limerick (30 minutes), while Dublin is about two and a half hours via the M7 and M18. The town centres around its historic square, dominated by an 1840 limestone courthouse with four imposing columns that's considered one of Clare's finest examples of 19th-century civic architecture.
