Truro, Cornwall's only city and administrative heart, sits where the A390 meets the A39, making it the natural hub for exploring the county. The A30 provides the main connection to England, while local routes serve Falmouth (11 miles) and St. Austell (15 miles). With over 60 EV charging points and a surprisingly mild climate for its latitude, it's well-equipped for modern travel. The cathedral here is England's only Anglican cathedral built since the Reformation, completed in 1910.
