Trevor lies just off the A539 in northeast Wales, a stone's throw from Wrexham city centre. The village serves as the eastern approach to the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, where narrowboats cross 126 feet above the River Dee on what's become a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Wales' most photographed engineering marvels.
