Tradeston

Scotland

Scotland

Tradeston occupies the south bank of the Clyde opposite Glasgow city centre, having evolved from an industrial quarter into modern residential housing. Access is straightforward via the M8, with Junction 19 or 20 providing direct routes into the area. The Kingston Bridge carries heavy traffic from all directions, whilst local routes include the A77 from the south. The distinctive S-shaped pedestrian bridge, dubbed the "Squiggly Bridge" by locals, has become one of Glasgow's most photographed modern structures.
