Torrastan lies on Coll in the Inner Hebrides, reached by CalMac ferry from Oban (A85 from Glasgow or Edinburgh). The island's single road connects scattered settlements including nearby Arinagour. Coll Airport offers flights to Oban as an alternative to the ferry. The airstrip doubles as an occasional cattle pasture, requiring pilots to check for livestock before landing.
