Tixover

Tixover straddles the Rutland-Northamptonshire border in England's limestone country, perched above the River Welland valley where old quarries have carved dramatic cliffs. Access via the A43 through Duddington connects to the A47 north and M40 corridor south, with the A1 15km east for long-distance travel. The village sits amongst excellent walking country around former quarry workings, and boasts England's longest railway viaduct—an impressive 19th-century structure with 82 arches spanning nearly half a mile.
