Titchfield Common occupies a central spot in Hampshire's Fareham Borough, easily reached via Junction 9 of the M27. The area sits between Southampton Airport (15km) and Portsmouth (20km), making it a useful base for exploring the Solent region. Local roads connect through Locks Heath and Titchfield village, whilst the South Downs and New Forest lie within easy reach. The Common takes its name from ancient grazing land where medieval residents once exercised their livestock rights.
