Tilley is a small Shropshire village about 15km north of Shrewsbury, reached via the A49 and A528 through Wem. The area serves local traffic between nearby settlements and longer journeys to Shrewsbury or the Welsh borders. Electric vehicle charging is available in Wem and along main routes. The village's Norman church, built from local red sandstone, has stood for nearly nine centuries.
