Thurnby forms part of Leicester's eastern suburbs, easily reached via the A47 which runs along its southern edge. Most visitors arrive from Leicester city centre or connect from the M1 via the A563 ring road. The area benefits from good local connections to Scraptoft and the wider suburban network, with over 100 EV charging points available nearby. Ragdale Hall spa, one of Britain's most prestigious wellness destinations, has operated here since the 1970s.
