Thrushelton is a small Devon village near the Cornwall border, connected to the A30 via quiet country lanes through Lewdown or Bratton Clovelly. Most journeys are local trips to neighbouring villages like Lobhillcross, though it's also used by drivers crossing between Devon and Cornwall. The 13th-century church of St. George contains a remarkably preserved medieval rood screen with original painted saint panels.
