Thornsett is a small Derbyshire village in the High Peak, positioned on the edge of the Peak District near New Mills. Most visitors arrive via the A6015 through the Sett Valley, often combining trips with walks to Kinder Scout or other moorland destinations. The village features a distinctive Victorian railway viaduct, now part of the Sett Valley Trail.
