Thame sits between Oxford and Aylesbury on the A418, with the A329 providing the main north-south route through town. Most visitors arrive from Oxford (20km west) or use Junction 7 of the M40 via the A329. The town serves as a convenient waypoint for longer journeys and has approximately 100 EV charging points. Thame's market has run continuously since 1215, still held every Tuesday in the historic market square.
