Thackley occupies the northern outskirts of Bradford, easily reached via the A657 Harrogate Road which forms the village's main thoroughfare. The nearby A6120 ring road connects to the M62 and M606 for longer journeys, whilst Leeds Bradford Airport sits just 8km northeast. With approximately 300 public EV charging points in the vicinity and excellent links to both Bradford city centre and the Yorkshire Dales, it's well-positioned for both local commutes and regional exploration. The village's standout landmark remains its Victorian railway viaduct from the 1840s, still carrying Airedale Line trains across the valley.
