Taynuilt

Taynuilt is a Highland village on the A85 between Oban and Perth, positioned where the River Nant meets Loch Etive. The A85 provides the main access, with long-distance routes from Glasgow via the A82 and Crianlarich. Local connections serve Connel and Oban, whilst minor roads lead to Kilchrenan on Loch Awe. The village has roughly 11 public EV charging points and sits beneath Ben Cruachan's dramatic peaks. It's home to Bonawe Iron Furnace, an exceptionally well-preserved 18th-century blast furnace.
