Tallaght

Tallaght is a major suburban town in South Dublin County, sitting 13 kilometres southwest of the city centre in the Dublin Mountains foothills. Built up rapidly from the 1970s as part of Dublin's planned expansion, it's now a significant retail hub anchored by The Square shopping centre, one of Ireland's largest with over 100 stores across multiple levels. The M50 motorway provides main access via Junctions 10 and 11, while the N81 runs north-south through town connecting to Blessington and counties further south. The Luas Green Line offers a handy tram connection into central Dublin for those avoiding the roads.
