Sywell lies in Northamptonshire countryside about 10 kilometres northeast of Northampton. Reach it via the A43 from Northampton or M1 Junction 15, then local roads through Overstone. The village sits amongst typical Midlands farmland with good links to Wellingborough and surrounding settlements. Its historic aerodrome, operational since the 1920s, hosts regular vintage aircraft events.
