Sutton Grange lies just west of Ripon along the A6108, serving as a gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Most reach it via Junction 50 off the A1(M), then a short drive through typical North Yorkshire countryside. The village offers a peaceful base for exploring Fountains Abbey and the surrounding Dales, with the old watermill still operating when the River Ure runs high.
